The Dental Practice was taken over in 2015 by Dr Anastasija Petkevica who has continued to grow and develop the services of the practice. Our team is committed to providing you with the best possible general dental care and advice as well as excellent customer service. Anastasija graduated from Riga Stradins University in 2004. In the autumn of 2006 Anastasija moved to Northamptonshire where she has worked in general dental practice ever since. In July 2015 Anastasija became the owner and the principal dentist of Finedon Dental Practice and is enjoying developing it.
Anastasija’s calm nature makes her very popular with nervous patients, and over 10 years of day to day working alongside very experienced dental professionals has helped her gain more skills and develop a wider understanding of general dentistry.
Anastasija likes to be a bit of a perfectionist in her work. She frequently attends seminars and conferences in order to keep up to date with the latest advances so she can provide the highest quality of treatment to all her patients.
Outside of work, Anastasija likes spending time with her family and friends. She also likes to travel and enjoys experiencing different foods.
STAFF MEMBERS
Tatiana is a General Dentist graduated in 2003 with a Master’s Degree in Periodontology achieved in 2005.
After full-time academic and clinical training within UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul), one of the most prestigious Dentistry Universities in Brazil.
Tatiana has more than 15 years of clinical experience performing a wide range of procedures and treating patients with a kind and thoughtful approach, particularly for those who are more nervous and apprehensive. Tatiana is strongly motivated by the satisfaction of patients whilst encouraging them to achieve better oral health.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with her husband and her son.
Mamta Graduated from one of the oldest dental institutions in the UK Bart’s and the London school of medicine and dentistry.
She strongly believes in a holistic preventive evidence based approach to dentistry and ensures to continue her development through several dental courses. She has completed the MJDF (RCS) exams after her graduation and is currently undertaking a PGCert (Diploma) in Orthopaedic and Orthodontic Dentistry with London Dental Institute. She enjoys providing a wide range of treatments and tailoring individualised treatment plans.
Outside of dentistry she loves to keep active and fit and loves HIIT workouts and attending Barry’s boot camp sessions, She enjoys travelling and is a massive foodie.
Dr Jennifer Burdett qualified from Newcastle University in 2012.
She started her career in the South West, working as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgery Senior House Officer in Salisbury Hospital. This lead her to develop her surgical skills and management of jaw joint problems. She has worked in General Dentistry for over 10 years and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of the job.
She has built a reputation for putting anxious patients and children at ease, due to her calming and approachable nature. Jennifer takes time with her patients to explain what she is doing before, during and after treatment. She particularly enjoys helping improve her patient’s confidence by changing their smile with whitening, composite bonding or crowns/veneers. Jennifer regularly attends postgraduate courses to update her knowledge, to make sure her patients benefit from the latest research and technology.
She loves spending weekends in the countryside with her two young daughters, supportive husband and cockerpoo dog called Suzie.
Meet Dr Laura Stancu, a vibrant dentist on a journey to master the intricacies of endodontology in her second year of postgraduate degree. Laura is known for her gentle touch, patients marvel at how pain-free their root canal treatments is.
Beyond the dental chair, Laura is an avid photographer, culinary enthusiast, and nature lover, often spotted capturing beauty through her lens or whipping up delectable dishes in the kitchen. Laura also finds solace in lifting heavy weights at the gym to stay fit and energized.
Recently settling into the area, she is excited to join the friendly Finedon dental team, eager to contribute their expertise and passion to the community’s oral health journey.
Sheryl qualified from Portsmouth Dental Academy as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist after beginning her career as a Dental Nurse.
She finds it very rewarding seeing patients oral hygiene improve and is always looking for new ways to motivate her patients.
She has a friendly and calming nature and strives to put nervous patients at ease in the dental environment. Sheryl is passionate about helping patients achieve great oral health.
In addition to dental hygiene, Sheryl carries out teeth whitening, stain removal and as part of her therapist role she can carry out certain fillings and can carry out paediatric treatment.
I joined the Practice in January 2017 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in January 2018. Within my work role I have a passion for providing a calm and reassuring environment for our patients. I especially enjoy working with children and nervous patients. I have a particular interest in restorative dentistry.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my 2 boys and husband. We enjoy a range of outdoor activities.
I am a Dental Nurse. I joined Finedon Dental Practice in 2021.
Becoming a nurse was something I always wanted to pursue growing up I particularly took an interest in dentistry, I am looking forward to qualifying as a Dental Nurse and giving the best care to our patients.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my little boy, husband, family and friends. Travelling, staying active and socialising is something I love.
I joined Finedon Dental Practice in December 2023 as a trainee dental nurse.
Ever since I can remember, I have always dreamed of a career in medicine.
In order to fulfil my dream, I graduated from Nicolae Testimitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, as a Family Doctor.
When I moved to UK, my life has changed a lot and I chose dentistry to continue my passion and to be helpful to patients and to make a difference.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my children and husband.
Hello I am Khansa Iqbal Pathan, I am thrilled to have joined Finedon Dental Practice in August 2024 as a trainee dental nurse.
As a qualified dentist from Pakistan I graduated from Liaquat University of medical and health science, I am so excited to pursue my career in the UK and expand my skills in dental nursing and continue to provide excellent care to patients.
Outside of work you can find me indulging in my passion for baking, exploring the great outdoors on walks, and discovering new cultures through travelling.
Hi I am Betsy, I recently joined Finedon Dental Practice to start my career as a dental nurse I am a trainee and just enrolled on my course to become qualified.
I am so excited to see what the future holds and where is will take me within dentistry at the moment I want to perfect my understanding and knowledge to help the dentist to provide a high quality of care to our patients.
My passion outside of work is to travel and to experience new things and I love to socialise with family and friends.
My name is Helen and I joined Finedon Dental Practice in August 2016 as a part-time Receptionist and recently took on the role full-time.
I am passionate about the role, I especially enjoy interacting with the patients and working as part of a great team.
I come from a childcare and Apprenticeship training/recruitment background.
Away from the Practice I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends and not forgetting our cat Molly. I like swimming and also, I am an avid reader and have a great interest in music as well as crafting of all kinds.
I joined Finedon Dental Practice in August 2020 as the receptionist.
I have worked in management and customer facing roles for the last 30 years, I particularly like working with the public and love working as part of a team.
My role here is greeting patients into the practice and making them feel comfortable ready for their appointments with the clinicians along with reception and administration duties.
When I am not at work I enjoy swimming and spending quality time with my family and friends.
